End of The Line For 2014 - Bring On 2015 I'm Ready

The end of 2014 is fast approaching. It’s the end of the line with the proverbial train pulling into the station at the end of the route. How did 2014 fair for you? Did you accomplish all the goals you set for yourself for the year? Do you even set goals for yourself at the beginning of a new year? I personally think it’s a great idea and works for me to keep me on track and focused in my personal and professional life.

I like to take time and reflect and look back on all the things I did and didn’t accomplish in the past year with my business and in my everyday life. I find it useful in helping me figure out my game plan for the upcoming year. I recently read a quote online the other day and it went like this, “2013 was practice, 2014 was the warm up and 2015 is game time” I absolutely love that quote, it really resonated with me and holds a lot of truth in my mind. I found that 2013 was really the very early stages of getting my business off the ground, baby steps for me if you will. This past year, 2014 things really started to ramp up for me in terms of clarifying my business goals and ideas as well as getting a lot more exposure which has been incredible.

Although 2014 was a very tough year personally, there were a lot of adversities to overcome and emotional turmoil to navigate through, I am still here and can say I survived. Perhaps a little jaded but I guess in the grand scheme of things for the most part I came through the year unscathed. As the saying goes “whatever doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger” When you encounter emotionally tough times and have to deal with loss or tough times, it can take a toll on a person but that saying really rings true to me. You have to pick yourself up, dust yourself off and keep on going. If nothing else, getting through all the bullshit that life throws at us should only motivate and inspire us to succeed, to do bigger and better things.

I can tell you this right now, the past year I have learned a lot about life, business and myself. I am feeling totally and thoroughly inspired to do great things in all aspects of my life in 2015. So I say, bring it on, it’s GAME TIME! I am ready for it and am looking forward to all that life will throw at me in the coming year.

As we bid farewell to 2014, I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone all the success and happiness for 2015. May all your wishes and dreams come true!
