JACELYN has spent the last decade taking chances and one by one they have all paid off.

JACELYN’s Kickstarter campaign to fund her debut album, Dovetailing, reached its goal of $30,000 in just 16 hours and became #1 in the world as the most popular out of 58,000 music campaigns on Kickstarter. By the end of her campaign, JACELYN had raised 200% above asking which gave her a spot in the top 5 Jazz campaigns EVER, alongside Quincy Jones, Quest Love, and Paula Cole.

At the same time, a song JACELYN co-wrote, “Born To Love You”, performed by Donavon Lee Carpenter, was #1 on country music radio on the European charts. She wrote this song for a couple who were getting married, and due to its success, JACELYN decided to launch her company Our Song, writing custom wedding songs for couples. This got the attention of Bridal Guide magazine, and Canada Gay Weddings, who have both partnered with JACELYN for the upcoming wedding season. These landmark milestones have brought JACELYN a lot of attention in the industry.

Before this recent wave of excitement, JACELYN spent almost 3 years touring and performing her music all over the world, while spending her down time writing and recording in NYC and Toronto. She played on the same bills as Keith Urban, Blue Rodeo, Johnny Reid, Megan Patrick, Tebey, Jason Blaine and Colin James, to name a few. She was also invited up on stage to sing with Dirks Bentley at Boots and Hearts.

While JACELYN will still continue to write country music for other artists, she has now found her journey as a performer and singer has evolved and developed into something more rooted in adult contemporary. Her original compositions now blend the elemental sounds of jazz, blues, and pop, with a soulful delivery, that captures listener’s hearts. JACELYN’S recently completed debut album, Dovetailing, set to release in the fall of 2019, was co-produced and arranged by internationally recognized composer/pianist, Amina Figarova.

JACELYN is also excited to share her love of the holiday season by partnering again with the Scarborough Symphony as they embark on creating a 2020 Christmas album and doing a concert series together. JACELYN’S radio single, “Waiting For Christmas”, received national radio play across Canada and her Spotify single, “Spike My Drink”, reached almost 50,000 streams in three weeks.

With the launch of her debut album and the strong support she’s received from her fans, JACELYN is ready to take on the next decade with her music in Canada and beyond.
