Sarah and Apryl became fast friends when they both worked as reporters and videographers at Rogers TV in Barrie. From there they went on to work at newsrooms, production agencies and communications departments across the country.

When motherhood come along they wondered how could they still do what they loved but also be available to their kids? That’s how This Kinda Life was born, with a vision of bringing their passion for storytelling, video and connection to an online audience. Since then they've immersed themselves in all things social media and are also the founders of TKL Media, a boutique social media agency specializing in content creation.
