In the latest episode of the Empowerography Podcast, my guest is Antonella Cellini. With a passion for art and sweet tooth for desserts, Antonella began her journey creating 3d sculpted cakes for family and friends back in 2002; all because she never received a birthday cake herself as a child. The passion turned business, ventured into creating her very own brand of fondant, “Fabulous Fondant”, became the first of its kind available in grocery store chains throughout Canada. She has since produced the first reality show for Rogers TV called “The Artsy Baker Show” and was a regular guest on Daytime York Region. Antonella has appeared on many TV Networks such as HGTV, Slice TV, Food Network and CityLine. In this episode we discuss baking, cake artistry, thinking outside the box, saying yes and figuring it out later, failure, parenthood, art and just doing it.

Her passion to make kids smile after not getting her own cake lead her to make her desserts more allergen friendly. Artsy Baker is a Nut Free facility and offers options such as Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Egg Free and Vegan. Artsy Baker is a Kosher establishment and has a long list of offerings however her Gourmet line of “Decked Out Donuts” has become just as trendy as her Custom Cakes.
